Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and repair electronic equipment to maximize operational uptime and meet turnaround targets.
Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to identify hardware issues and coordinate return authorizations (RMAs).
Manage repair workflows including inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, and preparation of repair quotes.
Maintain documentation in alignment with ISO and QA/QC processes.
Design and build test fixtures to measure equipment performance against specifications.
Work on-site with field crews as needed to identify and resolve equipment performance issues.
Maintain local repair inventories using Kanban or similar small-scale inventory management systems.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Technology, or related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
Experience:
Working knowledge of instrumentation technology, QA/QC processes, and ISO standards.
Familiarity with work order system and hardware (setup, troubleshooting, software integration).
Understanding of sewer systems and hydraulics as related to monitoring equipment.
Experience in managing equipment turnaround times and repair workflows.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in technical writing, diagnostics, and computer-based systems.
Ability to design and implement test fixtures for electronic performance evaluation.
Certifications:
Field Level 3 Certification, including confined space entry qualification.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Kanban or small-scale inventory systems.
Exposure to training and continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
