Job Description:
We are seeking a Sr. IT System Engineer to join our global team to handle Applications and Endpoint delivery, including solutions, methods, management, and configuration of Mobile (iOS-Android), Thin Client, and Windows Client/VDI OS and applications. You will also manage client file/print services and work with various teams to deliver published applications through RDS-Horizon.
You will work independently on high-level assignments and strategic initiatives, providing necessary details for successful implementation. Sr. IT System Engineer will identify gaps in processes and technologies, research potential solutions, and are recognized as technical experts in their areas. You can lead small project teams, collaborate with business key users and IT teams to accomplish tasks, resolve issues, and test changes or new solutions.
Location - Charlotte, NC
Hybrid 2 days in office per week
Travel - up to 4 times a year domestic or international

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Endpoint Management
Identify requirements and research solutions for projects and tasks.
Provide technical expertise and define strategies for desktop management.
Build, test, and deploy corporate desktop images.
Applications Management
Packaging, deploying, configuring, updating, and removing apps on devices managed by the organization.
Support data center hosted Horizon and RDS Published applications.
OS Management
Identify requirements, research solutions and providing expertise for physical and Virtual Endpoint OS delivery using Intune, MECM, and Horizon VDI.
Infrastructure Management
Identify requirements, research solutions and providing expertise for applications management and configuration platforms iGel, Horizon, Intune, MECM, and Active Directory Group policies
Troubleshoot MECM system services, Horizon/RDS/VDI infrastructure services, and datacenter/remote site File/Print servers.
Print & File share
File share and printer management, deployment, access, and drivers
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Technical competencies
Design, plan, and implement complex systems.
Lead projects and support team members.
Knowledge of system engineering principles and best practices.
Understanding of Windows Desktop OS, Active Directory Management, Group policies, and Intune policies.
Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell preferred).
Experience with Horizon, MECM, Intune, and ServiceNow.
Non-technical competencies
Good level of English (spoken and written).
Team spirit and good multicultural interpersonal skills.
Good documentation and planning skills.
Strong critical thinking and high functional logic.
Self-organized mindset.
Good communication skills.
Education /Experience:
4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience in implementing desktop environment support.
3+ years of experience with Horizon/MECM/Intune and AD functions.
2+ years of experience with infrastructure systems supporting Horizon/MECM/Intune and deployment of desktops and applications.
