Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Business Analyst V within our team. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, documentation, conducting meetings and helping to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions to meet client requirements. Your expertise in analytical process and software delivery will be crucial to contributing the team with project success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and define business requirements and needs. Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.

  • Conduct joint application design sessions, interviews, and surveys to collect necessary data.

  • Utilize techniques such as gap analysis, strawman, process flows, use cases, as is/to be diagrams, requirement matrixes,

  • Write clear and concise requirements in analysis documents and user stories.

  • Evaluate current business processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks. Develop solutions and strategies to improve or streamline business processes.

  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Ensure clear communication of project goals, objectives, and timelines. Provide regular updates on project progress. Identify and escalate risks to project leads.

  • Provide support during the testing phase and ensure proper implementation of business solutions.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience

  • Proficiency with business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SQL).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience with Agile methodology and project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, Trello).

  • Familiarity with system architecture or IT solutions.

  • 10 + years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.

  • 5 + years of experience working on an integrated tax system or experience working with taxes.



The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $116,000 to $191,500. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. This position is classified as exempt in accordance with applicable law.
