The Financial Analyst II will play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions focusing on operating expenses, compensation, and cost of revenue. This position requires a meticulous detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills to provide actionable insights, forecasts, and recommendations to drive business performance. The Financial Analyst II will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial data, optimize budgets, and contribute to strategic decision-making. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, a high level of ownership and accountability, accuracy, and intellectual curiosity. This is a highly visible role, requiring regular interaction and presentations to senior executives

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed annual financial budgets and monthly financial forecasts for operating expenses, compensation, and cost of revenue, capital expenditures, and capitalized wages.
  • Analyze and interpret financial results with key stakeholders, highlighting key variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods. Identify trends, patterns and areas of concern or opportunity.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial and metrics reports to the CFO and department heads, providing key insights on performance against budget and forecast.
  • Develop complex financial models, including ad-hoc analyses and long-term pricing models.
  • Assist in long-term strategic planning (LRP).
  • Own and maintain FP&A software tool Abacum to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an FP&A role.
  • Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Highly analytical, technically strong and effective communicator.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences.
  • Expert financial modeling skills, with a proven track record of developing impactful business analysis.
  • High standard of accuracy, precision and organization.
  • Highly developed ability to partner and build strong relationships with business partners across the organization.
  • Results focused with an operators’ mindset and team oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Adaptive Insights and Sage Intacct is a plus.
  • Experience with managing an FP&A software. Abacum experience is a huge plus.

Pay Transparency

The approximate base pay range for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
