Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Technical Support Specialist II for a mid-level service position located in Texas. This role is designed for individuals with a strong technical background and the ability to provide top-notch support to field service technicians and CCF personnel. The Technical Support Specialist II will also be involved in servicing and repairing robots, both in-house and occasionally in the field, requiring travel.
Responsibilities
Rely on experience and judgment to complete complex tasks and accomplish goals.
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of the robots.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to maintain, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems and components that have returned from the field.
Provide full technical support to field technicians in troubleshooting and repairing robots in the field (via email and phone).
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Work with Production and QC in building, servicing, and testing assemblies and robots.
Train new personnel as required in service processes and procedures.
Data entry of work being performed during service and repair processes.
Report to the Technical Support Manager.
Position may require up to 25% travel time, local and domestic.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or its equivalent.
2+ years of work experience in service/repair or related technical field.
Highly motivated individual eager to learn and grow with the company.
Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
Customer service experience.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of electronics.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve without direct supervision.
High attention to detail.
Experience interpreting schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
Experience with hand tools and diagnostic equipment used to service electronic and mechanical equipment.
Moderate computer skills.
Required Work Hours
Monday through Friday, first shift.
Benefits
The role offers a competitive pay range with a minimum of $22 and a maximum of $25 per hour.
