Provide advanced actuarial analyses based on established principles, supporting data-driven decision-making for internal business leaders in areas such as Pricing, Reserving, Reinsurance, and Corporate Reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research to evaluate new business opportunities, establish rates, and develop pricing strategies aligned with profitability goals.
Present actuarial findings clearly to diverse stakeholders, including underwriters, and respond to requests for alternative approaches.
Deliver presentations to actuarial and non-actuarial audiences, ensuring understanding of results and their implications.
Identify and communicate potential actuarial issues proactively.
Mentor and support junior actuaries, fostering professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or related field (minimum GPA: 3.2).
3+ years of actuarial experience with at least 4 completed SOA/CAS exams; commitment to CAS Associate or Fellowship designation.
Strong skills in Excel, with preferred experience in SQL, R, Python, Power BI, and ResQ software.
