Our client is looking for an Exchange Engineer who will focus is Exchange administration, with additional responsibilities in M365. The role involves end-user support rather than deep engineering work but requires a "Lead Engineer" level of experience beyond basic administration.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Manage Exchange 2016 in a hybrid environment.
Support Microsoft 365, covering a wide range of issues.
Handle escalations for M365-related concerns.
Troubleshoot Outlook sync and email delivery issues.
Support mailboxes hosted online with an on-prem relay to M365.
Work with Mimecast as the email gateway.
Scan emails and understand delivery processes into Microsoft.
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience with Exchange 2016 or later.
Strong understanding/experience with O365 Administration.
Experience with Exchange Hybrid configurations.
Knowledge of Azure AD/Entra.
Strong understanding of M365 Groups (Security, Distro, Universal, etc.), Mailboxes (resource, shared, equipment).
Knowledge of PowerShell.
Understanding of email security protocols (DKIM, SPF, DMARC).
Understanding of M365 Licensing.
Experience with Mimecast.
Experience with OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams (namely the resource mailbox requirements around Teams).
Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Hourly range is $60/hr - $70/hr based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
