Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Demand Planning Manager with a solid experience in SIOP to join a Global CGP Manufacturer located in the greater Richmond area. This Demand Planning Manager will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D, Production and related cross functional teams, based on historic sales data and market trends to develop forecast models and further develop an effective S&OP process, support the launch of new product and incorporate new product S&OP with existing product lines. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with lucrative compensation, bonus and benefit, in addition, the company would like to develop the right individual to become the NA Director of Planning
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, R&D, based on customers projects, historic sales data and market trends to develop and advance forecast model.
Lead, mentor and develop a planning team, based of business capacity to develop team development plan, staffing plan and performance management plan, hold subordinate accountable and optimize team performance.
Develop, define, and research demand forecast drivers, prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results, develop statistic forecast models to support the development of S&OP process with Planning team.
Provide input to the Inventory, Manufacturing, R&D, Procurement and Logistics teams and ensure the accuracy demand and forecast information to develop, optimize and improve the capacity planning of Materials, manufacturing, replenishment, and manpower, and further ensure on-time fulfillment, cost reduction, waste reduction and higher efficiency.
Establish KPI to measure forecast performance, identify and capture deviations, variances and help refine, advance, and improve forecast model and process with cross functional teams.
Address potential forecast and demand changes based on customer requirements, timely address the modification of forecast model, change of data that could impact the current and future S&OP process and planning model.
Chair periodic demand, forecast and S&OP Meetings with executive leaderships to address critical constraints, customers demand changes, new product launches, customer projects review, changes on demand drivers, address any changes needed to be made with supply chain planning team, production, engineering, procurement, vendors, etc.
Support R&D on new product development projects, based on NPI projects to develop, implement a S&OP, develop forecast strategies on new products based on market demands.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
Recent years of experience in demand forecasting, S&OP development within supply chain or manufacturing industries
Proficient with SAP and Excel
Solid knowledge in Product planning, S&OP and execution of planning process.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, ability to do presentation and work well with all levels of personnel.
