Wells Fargo Credit Sales & Trading is seeking an experienced leveraged credit sector strategist who produces quality credit-specific, industry and thematic analysis across all leveraged credit products to join our team.
In this role, you will:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of credit analysis across all leveraged credit products and credit markets
Have a proven history of creating top-tier credit work product
Possess dynamic leadership skills
Maintain an active dialogue/relationship with the market's credit investor base
Be able to collaborate with business partners across groups
Work with the Credit Sales and Trading businesses to align Credit Sector Strategy with Wells Fargo's strategic priorities
Prioritize clients across different market segments and balance sheet risk
Determine the scope of market coverage and facilitating communication with business partners in sales, trading and syndicate
Possess a thorough understanding of Sales & Trading compliance policies and the regulations that govern sector strategist conduct
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Securities Strategies experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of a broad market-segment / industry range of analyst experience
Strong experience in analyzing complex capital structures, particularly within stressed / distressed companies
Energetic, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent communication and management skills
A team-oriented mindset that will work in close partnership with the various business teams and relevant support partners
Prior desk-analyst experience
Bloomberg and Microsoft Excel proficiency
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 15% or as needed

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $144,400.00 - $300,000.00 Benefits
