Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manufacturing Solution Architect


to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing solution architecture for


our internal manufacturing processes. You will engage with internal business partners and


external stakeholders to derive both functional and non-functional requirements. You will be


accountable for the successful creation and delivery of integrated architectural solutions that


enhance our manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Solution Design and Architecture:


- Consolidate and document architectures that are already defined and/or the current state architecture. 30 to 40% of the work.


- Define Architecture Vision and strategy for the project scope, aligned with overall SC strategy.


- Develop and propose architectural solutions for supply chain internal manufacturing processes.


- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.


- Design end-to-end solutions that align with business objectives, technology strategy and industry best practices.


- Propose multiple options and recommendations with clear rationale articulated.


- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to discuss requirements and expected outcomes.


Implementation and Optimization:


- Work closely with IT and operations teams to ensure non-functional requirements are enabled as per the design


- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.


- Utilize data analytics and modeling tools to support decision-making and enhance performance.


Technology Evaluation and Recommendations:


- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in supply chain management.


- Evaluate various supply chain software and tools, providing recommendations for optimal solutions.


- Assist in vendor selection and manage relationships with external partners.


Documentation and Reporting:


- Create detailed documentation of architectural designs, implementation plans, and system configurations.


- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.


- Own and upkeep systems inventory list.


- Document evolution of architecture states as per the roadmap timeline


Qualifications & Experience:


- 15+ years of experience in IT, primarily focused on pharmaceutical supply chain manufacturing processes and solution architecture.


- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role within supply chain manufacturing environments.


- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, manufacturing operations, ISA 95 model and industry best practices, with experience in internal manufacturing and biologics as a significant advantage.


- Proficiency in supply chain manufacturing software and tools (e.g., MES, OSI-PI, Labs and Quality systems).


- Proficiency in ISA95 systems integrations, primarily in Levlel2 and 3, is a must have.


- SAP S4HANA experience good to have.


- Proficient in data integration, data platforms, and analytics technologies such as Azure Data Bricks, Spark, Power BI, and Tableau.


- Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS products.


- Experience in application integration using APIs and event-based integration patterns, leveraging integration platforms (IPaaS) such as, SAP BTP Integration Suite or webMethods.


- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud network design is a plus.


- Strong understanding of security access controls and the cybersecurity domain.


- Ability to understand business processes and technologies, ensuring the implementation of appropriate solutions.


- Experience developing architecture artifacts using tools like draw.io, Visio, PowerPoint, and LeanIX.


- Experience in AI based solution, knowledge of AI, machine learning, generative AI, RAG, Vector DBs, GraphDB and automation technologies is highly desirable.


- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.


- Experience working in cross-functional teams.


- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to critically evaluate various architectural options.


- Proven experience in agile methodologies and architectural frameworks.
