A DAY IN THE LIFE
Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, soil, and toxicology testing. Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.Our Richmond, VA facility is currently seeking a Full-Time Project Manager Assistant to service our Richmond, VA lab.
The PMAwill be responsible for assisting with login,storage,and verification of client samples, verification of chains of custody and client notifications of discrepancies. You'll ideally need at least oneyear of experience in a laboratory environment and welcome the opportunity to make an impact from day one.
As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Creates field sampling and bottle order requests
Contacts clients to confirm sampling schedule
Coordinates with subcontract labs for sample delivery and project status
Generates subcontract COCs
Assists with sample logins
Puts together sample bottle kits
Sends client sample receipt confirmation
Reviews draft invoices
Creates and send preliminary reports to clients
Generates and uploads Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs)
Generates and submit state reporting forms and Self-Monitoring Reports
Manages basic client accounts
Reviews reports for completeness and accuracy
Generates and reviews invoices
Complies with ethics and safety training schedules
Maintain sample bottle and small microbiology lab inventory
Perform microbiology tests when needed
Deliver bottle sets to client sampling location
Courier runs between North Carolina lab or sampling/client locations to Richmond, VA laboratory
Driving company vehicles to client locations, and to Richmond lab and back
Other duties as assigned
YOUR EXPERTISE & SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
•High school diploma but Associates Degree is highly desirable
1+ years of environmental-related experience including demonstrated progress in managing projects preferred
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of environmental regulations and laboratory methods is a plus
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe
Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Maintain professional attitude when interacting with clients
Able to multitask under strict deadlines
Flexible in work schedule including overtime
Valid Driver's License
Able to lift coolers up to 25lbs
