This position provides project management support services andexpertise for projects on Transmission and Distribution systems within theElectric Utility Industry. This position implements and coordinates programs toreduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, and financial losses.
JobDuties and Responsibilities:
• Provide professional support to the ProjectManager;
• Support in creating project budgets and costforecasts;
• Compile project deliverables;
• Conduct site and field visits in accordancewith each scope;
• Participate project conference calls;
• Reconcile active and retired corporate assetsin the client's software.
Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
• Associates degree in a business-relateddiscipline required, Bachelors' degree preferred;
• Ten (10) years of experience supportingbusiness/management operations and financial reporting in the Transmission orDistribution industry;
• An additional five (5) years' experience (inaddition to the basic requirement) in a support role for an operating companyin the transmission and distribution industry may be accepted in lieu of formaleducation degrees.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office; proficientin Microsoft Excel.
WorkingConditions:
• Work is conducted within an office withperiodic site visits within the LA, MS, AR area
• Interaction with other team members, as wellas supervisors and client personnel;
• Must be able to wear safety equipment asrequired by the safety department for personal protection;
• May be at more than one job site in a day andmust be able to tolerate climate changes.
• Must be able to lift and carry twenty (20)pounds;
• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing orother communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation,which permits employee to communicate effectively;
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of timewith or without reasonable accommodation;
