We are seeking an Communications Specialist for a full-time contract opportunity with FM Talent Source for one of our valued clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform, review, and edit policy documents, reports, and analyses to ensure consistency with agency guidelines and policy, as assigned.
Write, review, and edit documents on a daily basis, as assigned.
Research and establish the Office’s outreach strategy in support of mission, policies, goals, and impacts as a technical expert.
Enhance understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, equal opportunity, and civil rights among awardees, grantees, other external organizations, and internal audiences.
Develop and distribute content through written and digital platforms and oversee efforts supporting written and digital contributors.
Communicate internally and externally with a full range of stakeholders on an ad hoc basis.
Organize, analyze, and present (in written, visual, or oral formats) information, analyses, speeches, briefing materials, reports, and formal replies to official correspondence.
Develop a substantial outreach program that utilizes all available avenues to increase awareness and disseminate information about activities to various stakeholders.
Participate in outreach opportunities, conferences, workshops, webinars, and other forums to communicate with grantees, awardees, professional societies, and stakeholders seeking information about programs.
Collect pertinent statistical data and narrative information from various sources within and outside and apply analytical techniques to identify patterns and trends. The government will ensure contractor training.
Serves as the primary communication liaison for the communication tools that the office utilizes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of experience or no degree and six (6) years of experience.
Compensation Range: The salary range provided is determined by market value, internal equity, and the candidate's experience and qualifications. Offers will be extended within this range, though not all candidates will receive an offer at the upper limit.
