About the job:
The Restorative Aide performs routine tasks related to the operation of the therapy department supervised by the Therapy Manager. Assists with participant related activities as predetermined for each participant and assigned by the therapist and manager.
Monday- Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $19.60-$20.66

High school graduate or equivalent
Verbal and written ability is necessary to understand oral and written instruction, and to communicate with the residents and other staff members.
Manual and finger dexterity is required to operate and adjust equipment
Body coordination needed to assist in positioning resident comfortably in wheel chair and in, at, or on equipment.
Ability to perform a variety of tasks to assist the residents and the therapist/assistant.
Capable of following standard procedures and detailed instructions when assisting with residents and setting-up equipment.
Maintain current Driver's License.
Able to work with participants and show tact and consideration to secure their cooperation.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant experience/certification is preferred
Essentials:
Transports participants to and from department and toileting if necessary.
Assists participants before, during and after sessions according to procedures established by the therapy staff.
Unboxes, assembles, disassembles, and delivers equipment as directed by the therapy staff.
Performs restorative services as assigned by the therapist through supervised exercise routines under direct or indirect supervision of a therapist. Assignments will be made in accordance with the training that has been given.
Documents session in the electronic medical record and communicates with therapist on the participant's case as required.
Follows established procedures pertaining to the care of equipment and supplies, as assigned by the therapist.
Prepares, cleans and maintains treatment areas, equipment, and supportive areas in the department according to therapy and infection control policies.
