Position Summary:

Join our India team as a VP of Sales and take charge of driving all sales activity and direct sales focussed in the India market. This is a leadership role leveraging our cutting-edge and Globally acclaimed Industrial AI platform and applications to discerning Enterprise customers and large conglomerates in the India market. In this pivotal role, you will engage closely with potential clients to pinpoint their unique needs and challenges, crafting tailored solutions from our product suite to address these effectively. Your responsibilities shall involve diligently qualifying opportunities at all stages, collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize success rates, and providing vital market insights to our product development teams. As part of the leadership role, you shall be leading India sales teams to achieve organizational growth goals with a sense of mission and urgency e.g. develop sales strategies, mentor & invest in our talented sales teams, and ensure quota targets are met or exceeded.

You Shall be:

  • Responsible for setting strategic Sales directions, managing large -scale sales operations, driving revenue growth.
  • Formulate and implement targeted sales strategies to secure new business and cultivate a robust pipeline in alignment with revenue targets through a methodical sales process
  • Play a role in identifying and understanding customer needs to tailor our offerings accordingly
  • Employ value-based sales techniques to assess project returns on investment and structure deals appropriately
  • Continuously enhance expertise in consultative sales, technical solutions, and industry trends, showcasing our thought leadership through innovative technology solutions
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and drive repeat business opportunities
  • Leverage sales and marketing resources effectively to pinpoint promising prospects
  • Translate technical jargon into easily digestible insights and expertly manage customer expectations for seamless internal and external communication
  • Regularly update CEO office on progress through comprehensive reports on forecasts, pipeline status, and deal activities
  • Monitor and report key financial metrics on a weekly basis using  Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Cultivate in-depth knowledge of our products spanning business, technical, and financial aspects

You'll Have:

  • Preferably a degree in MBA from a premier B-School, Bachelor's degree required (technical background preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales in the aerospace, energy, automotive, hi-tech and related industries
  • Leadership acumen to lead a high-performing sales team during growth stage
  • Consistently achieved and exceeded sales quota targets in excess of USD One Million in individual capacity in your previous organizations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in proactive prospecting and opportunity identification
  • Proven track record of engaging with senior leadership and C-suite executives thereby building relationships and selling in large Indian conglomerates
  • Familiarity with value-based selling, exposure to various sales methodologies is a plus
  • Knowledge of AI, ML, NLP, Computer Vision, and Generative AI is beneficial
  • This position shall be based in Bangalore and 50-60% travel requirements
