The Maintenance Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination, planning and implementation of large projects and outage activities. This position is responsible for scoping work/projects, bidding activities, managing work execution and contractor, job safety, cost management and coordination with other site activities. The Maintenance Project Coordinator may review and authorize work permits and conduct audits and inspections. This includes all work relating to Mechanical and EIA.
What will you do?
Provide support in implementing large projects which may include preparing Capital Requests (CR's), working with Purchasing to select contractors, managing contracts, manage large project funds and coordination of field activities supporting work execution.
Provide assistance with managing significant reactive work. This support may include identifying and requisitioning materials or services, or supervising Mosaic Maintenance Mechanics or Technicians.
Assist with managing site outages. Lead outage coordination meetings. Identify the Outage Scope, coordinate activities, manage budgets and track progress during execution.
Manage contractors performing supplemental and specialty maintenance work. Bid work as required by Purchasing, requisition services, manage contracts, manage expense funds and coordinate field activities supporting work execution. Track maintenance budget for projects. Analyze feedback from contractors and other sources to identify and implement productivity improvement opportunities.
Assist with asset BOM and spare parts
Backfill for maintenance supervisors
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What do you need for this role?
High School/GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred, major in Engineering.
1+ years of Computerized Maintenance System (EMPAC or SAP) experience required.
