Surgery Scheduler



Very busy medical office in Matthews is seeking a polished, professional individual that always maintains a high level of customer service to each and every patient. Hours 8:30a-5:30p, M-F. Temp to perm. $18-19/hour.



Responsibilities:



Surgery Scheduling

• Input cases into centers scheduling system


• Verify Benefits - works with patients and insurance companies with billing explanations


• Communicates with patients, physician offices, insurance companies, staff, surgeons and external contractors


• Works directly with patients over the phone and in person

Relief Receptionist

• Meets, greets and checks in patients, staff, physicians and visitors


• Chart preparation


• Answering phones

Requirements:

• 3+ years of prior Medical Procedure scheduling required - experience scheduling surgeries in at a hospital, scheduling MRI's, CAT Scans etc.


• High School Diploma


• Detail oriented


• Knowledgeable of health insurance


• Good communication and people skills is a must
