Maximo Developer


Location: Tucker, GA



Position Overview:

We are looking for a Maximo Developer to lead the implementation, management, and support of Maximo systems within our shared services division. In this role, you will ensure smooth deployment, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize Maximo applications to meet business needs. You'll collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and company leadership to enhance system performance, improve processes, and support mobility initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Maximo system implementations and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with business operations.


• Analyze business needs and design solutions within the Maximo platform to improve workflows.


• Provide training and support to Maximo super users, ensuring effective system utilization.


• Monitor and report on system performance, proactively identifying areas for improvement.


• Manage daily operations, including troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with IT teams, and maintaining security protocols.


• Lead project planning, creating timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and success metrics for Maximo initiatives.


• Stay updated with the latest Maximo advancements and educate stakeholders on new features.


• Develop and enforce best practices and standard procedures to maintain a secure and efficient enterprise application environment.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business.


• Experience:




• 5+ years of experience in Maximo system implementation, technical leadership, and project management.


• Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy Maximo modifications, interfaces, and process improvements.


• Strong track record of managing large-scale Maximo implementations and working with senior management.


• Experience migrating legacy systems to web-based platforms.


• Ability to work in a complex, customer-focused technology environment.

Technical Skills (Must-Have):

• Expertise in Maximo software, system configuration, and security settings.


• Proficiency in SQL, Java, J2EE, WebSphere, and WebLogic.


• Experience with Maximo Enterprise Adapter (MEA), Application Designer, and Workflows.


• Understanding of asset management, work orders, inventory, and purchasing in Maximo.

Nice-to-Have:

• IBM Maximo Certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Deployment Professional).


• Knowledge of the electric utility industry or experience with infrastructure upgrades.


• Familiarity with Tivoli, Oracle, Actuate Report Server, and BIRT.
