The Taylor Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to assist in overseeing all aspects of Quail Ridge during the evenings. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality and a proven ability to manage diverse teams and responsibilities. This role requires a strong focus on guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.


Job Summary:


The Quail Ridge Night Assistant Manager is responsible for aiding in the overall evening management of the lodge, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. This includes overseeing entertainment, lodging, and related services.


Responsibilities:



Guest Experience & Entertainment:

  • Assist in implementing strategies to enhance the guest experience, including creating excellent events during the evening hours of operation.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of entertainment programs, ensuring they align with the lodge's brand and target audience.
  • Manage guest relations, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction.

Lodging Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of lodging operations, including reservations, check-in/check-out, housekeeping, and maintenance during evening hours.
  • Ensure rooms and facilities are clean, well-maintained, and meet established standards.
  • Manage inventory of linens, supplies, and amenities.
  • Implement and enforce lodging policies and procedures.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff members across all departments (entertainment, lodging, groundskeeping).
  • Create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop staff schedules and manage time and attendance.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for all areas of responsibility.
  • Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Manage purchasing and inventory control.

Administrative & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records related to operations, finances, and guest information.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management preferred.
  • Three years' proven experience in a management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a lodge or resort setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and human resources practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license.
