Non- Destructive Testing (NDT) Quality Test Speicalist

$30.28-$33.65/Hour

Responsibilities:
Perform setup, execution, and documentation of non-destructive tests, primarily Eddy Current, to ensure quality compliance of aerospace components.
Set up and operate specialized non-destructive test and measurement equipment in accordance with controlled standards and procedures.
Conduct inspections, collect data, analyze results, and document findings in quality records or test reports.
Support the development and documentation of test procedures and technique sheets.
Participate in corrective action processes and provide feedback on adverse quality trends.
Conduct or support NDT certification training preparation.
Collaborate with internal teams and potentially interface with regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, Military).
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree required.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an NDT Quality Test Specialist in the aerospace or aviation industry.
Certification: Recent or current NDT Level II certification in Eddy Current (ET).
Other Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
General understanding of NDE techniques and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ET MAUS and ET Low Frequency.
Prior experience working with regulatory agencies such as DCMA, FAA, or Military.
Previous experience with Boeing.
Advanced NDT certifications or an Associate's degree in a technical discipline.
