Job Summary:




The Enterprise Patient Engagement Center (EPEC) at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin aims to enhance patient access and experience, while fostering a supportive top place to work. The Coordinator plays a crucial role in this effort by providing comprehensive onboarding and ongoing education for nursing staff, focusing on the Clinical Triage role.


Reporting to the EPEC clinical manager, the Coordinator will coordinate competency assessments, conduct in-services, and ensure that the triage team possesses the necessary foundational knowledge for delivering quality care. Additionally, this role involves quality assurance through monthly chart audits and coaching support for Clinical Triage RNs.


Collaboration with Clinical Triage supervisors and other clinical team members will be essential to drive projects and initiatives that promote the growth and success of the Clinical Triage vertical within Access to Care. The Coordinator will embody and advocate for the mission, vision, and values of Clinical Triage Nursing at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin, contributing to a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.



EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:



5+ years of experience as a RN, including 2+ years experience in education or leadership, is required. Ambulatory Clinic and Triage nursing experience preferred. EPIC and CRM Technology experience preferred.



EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:



Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.



SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:



Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills required.



LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:



Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
