Job Summary | The College of Pharmacy is seeking an Administrative Support Associate II to serve as the Executive Assistant for the Dean’s Office. This position will provide high-level professional assistance to the Dean and College leadership team. They will help manage the flow of information from the Dean’s Office to the department chairs and program directors to keep them abreast of ongoing developments that affect their areas of responsibility. They will be responsible for scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinating travel, managing schedules, handling correspondence, maintaining records, and taking minutes at high-level meetings. They are responsible for planning and executing College events, including developing event plans, coordinating vendors and supplies, promoting events, and managing all logistical details. Additionally, they coordinate meetings of the Executive Council, Faculty Council, and College Faculty, which includes soliciting agenda items, compiling agendas, ensuring quorum, and recording meeting minutes. This position will also work with our college leadership team to coordinate committee and award elections, revise committee procedures and collegiate governance documents and build and maintain a library of college policies and procedures. They will manage the day-to-day operations of the fast-paced Dean’s Suite. This includes managing the phone triage, ordering office supplies, communicating with external contacts and general office tasks. |
