What will you do?
Manage and guide a team to achieve key supply chain metrics and improve supplier performance.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with senior leaders to determine goals, develop project plans, and review performance.
Provide leadership by demonstrating process improvement values.
Lead initiatives to improve EDI accuracy with suppliers.
Develop strategies to reduce backlog and drive revenue recognition.
Quantify and measure actual versus encouraged results, reacting to trends to ensure performance expectations are met.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve processes and drive balanced corrective actions.
Coordinate supplier service and operational performance to meet internal targets and customer expectations.
Lead Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) calls with suppliers.
Supervise the creation of performance improvement plans detailing root causes, actions taken, and recovery dates.
Conduct stand-up meetings to address cross-functional issues.
Apply Microsoft Office tools and data mining tools for tracking key supply chain metrics.
Support excess and obsolete inventory objectives through supplier negotiations.
Find opportunities in People, Process, and Technology to inspire change and efficiency.
Manage inventory replenishment processes and exceptions.
Build productive internal and external relationships.
Lead ad hoc or special projects to benefit the group.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
4+ years' experience in supply chain, purchasing, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous people management or supervision experience.
Supplier/vendor management experience.
APICS certification (CPIM, CIRM, CSCP).
Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent experience.
Experience with SQL Server, COGNOS, or other data mining tools.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong customer service focus.
Proficiency in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
