Associate Attorney - Trusts & Estates at Adams & Martin Group in Wausau, Wisconsin

Job Description:

The Associate Attorney is responsible for supporting the daily and long-term goals of the Trust Administration, Probate, Guardianship, and Medicaid Departments. They implement strategies to increase productivity, function, organization, and motivation, and also support their team members through the workflow process. The goal is to increase client satisfaction and facilitate a reasonable timeline for completing workflow benchmarks. The Associate Attorney will utilize firm resources, communicates with community professional, and conducts client meetings and weekly Department meetings. This position will report to the Founding partner.


Ø Interact with clients, financial advisors, county agencies, financial institutions, and interested parties until client cases are closed.


Ø Conduct client meetings as needed and as assigned in the pertinent workflow.


Ø Create weekly meeting agenda, conduct department meetings, and communicate department status to supervisors on a regular basis.


Ø Perform Guardianship services, including court appearances for fair hearings.


Ø Assist with Estate Planning signing meetings.
