Job Description:

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a prominent Property Managment partner located near Woodbury needing to permanently add to their Accounting team!


Pay: $60,000-$70,000/yr


Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, general ledgers, and balance sheets for assigned properties.


• Record and reconcile property income, expenses, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.


• Process monthly rent payments, security deposits, and tenant chargebacks while monitoring delinquencies.


• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support property financial planning.


• Reconcile bank statements, tenant accounts, and escrow balances.


• Ensure compliance with lease agreements, property tax requirements, and financial regulations.


• Collaborate with property managers to review financial performance and resolve discrepancies.


• Assist with year-end audits, tax filings, and financial reporting for investors or stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in property accounting, real estate finance, or a similar role.


• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.


• Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate accounting principles.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
