A. Colarusso & Son, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager. The Project Manager will plan and organize resources for the successful execution of a project. The Project Manager leads project teams in the construction of projects ensuring project quality, schedule, cost control, and completion in a timely manner. Objectives of this role • Oversees construction project from start to finish. • Responsible for obtaining subcontractor estimates and manage subcontractors' progress and schedule. • Provides input and supervises all preconstruction services such as purchase orders, subcontracts, schedules, job costing, and project preplanning. • Works with the management to obtain personnel and equipment resources required to properly staff the project. • Manages the financial aspects of contracts. • Develops baseline project schedule. • Monitors and reports project cost and schedule performance; recommends corrective actions if needed. • Assists Superintendent with problem or conflict resolution. • Manages the scope of work and has mastery of the contract documents. • Participates in project coordination meetings. • Perform or direct submittals to agencies as required for construction of project. • Directs and ensures timely completion of project closeout activities. • Visit Project sites to observe progression. Required skills and qualifications • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Project Management, or related field. And/or five years of managerial and supervisory experience in the heavy highway construction industry. • Extensive knowledge of construction methods and materials, costing, scheduling and estimating. • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level. • Good computer skills. • Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills. • Strong team player. Salary based on experience ranging from $65,000.00 to $150,000.00 Must work overtime as needed. Paid vacation and sick time.
