This position is responsible for providing skilled administrative and accounting support to the assigned Division. The role includes extensive communication, coordination, and support of location administration personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
Regular duties will include accounts receivable responsibilities for the assigned division such as coordinating the issue of sales contracts and assign shipments, process final settlements and issue invoices, and post payments and advances against open invoices.
Perform internal control duties by reviewing check and ACH payments prior to their processing and review activity reports for accuracy and compliance.
Monitor and reconcile daily hedging activities and position report, abiding by company policies and posting the results to the position report and general ledger.
Work with the ERP Support staff, IT department, and field staff to create and implement efficient and effective accounting processes as necessary.
The Accounting Lead will perform end-of-day processes and post to the general ledger, maintain the bid price grid, maintain service charges and commodity discount tables, and handle price transfers.
Available to provide ongoing support and assistance to administrative staff as needed.
Responsible for monthly and annual reporting requirements.
Will serve as back up to other administrative staff as necessary.
Engage in safety awareness, complying with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Strict attention to detail, developed problem solving skills, and advanced math skills.
Self-motivated with high personal accountability.
Ability to work collaboratively, when necessary, in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to learn and use a variety of computer systems. Experience with Agvance is preferred.
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
Five years of related experience; experience with commodities is a plus.
