About us
Join a fast-scaling startup led by serial entrepreneurs with a track record of building and exiting successful companies. Backed by top-tier investors, we've cultivated a high-performing, collaborative culture with minimal hierarchy and a strong bias toward execution.
About the role
We're hiring a Head of Engineering to help evolve our engineering organization from a lean, agile team into a scalable, world-class department. Our product-led approach has taken us from zero to eight figures in annual recurring revenue in under two years-with just 9 engineers. Now, as we grow from ~30 to 120 people over the next 12 months, we're seeking a leader who can scale both systems and teams while preserving product velocity and technical excellence.
This is an opportunity to shape engineering at a company that's out-executing well-funded competitors, scaling efficiently without relying on traditional go-to-market bloat.
Why this role
Build from the ground up - The foundation is strong, but there's a lot of room to shape the team, culture, and tech.
High ownership, high impact - Engineering here isn't a cost center; it's the product. The decisions you make will directly impact our growth.
AI-first company - We're not bolting on AI; we're built around it. Our technical challenges aren't trivial, and we're solving real problems with real automation.
No legacy baggage - We move fast and iterate. You won't be stuck rewriting decade-old tech debt.
What you'll do
Scale the team from 9 to 30+ engineers, ensuring we hire fast while keeping the quality bar high.
Must have the ability to be a hands on engineer when there is a need.
Lead by example. This isn't just a person-management role. We want someone hands-on initially who can set the technical bar before transitioning into more leadership as we scale.
Drive technical strategy and own the architecture, scalability, and reliability of our AI-driven cloud optimization platform.
Mentor and develop talent while fostering a high-performance, ownership-driven culture.
Build a product engineers love. Our customers are technical (DevOps, engineers, CTOs), so the UX and API experience need to be best-in-class.
Who you are
Ideally you are a founding engineer or an engineering manager/director who wants an opportunity to work their way up to be our CTO.
9-15 years of experience (graduated 2010-2015), with experience leading 15+ engineers.
Have built and scaled teams before-ideally, you've led engineering at a $30M+ ARR startup or scaled a team from Series A to Series C.
Still hands-on (for now). You don't need to be coding daily, but you should be comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed.
Deep backend and infrastructure experience. You've built and scaled products used by 1,000+ customers (not just internal tools).
AI-curious. You don't need to be an ML expert, but you should be excited about AI-driven automation.
Cloud-savvy. You have deep knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Data-driven leader. You make decisions based on metrics, not just gut feel.
High execution, low ego. We value merit over politics. If you need fancy titles and layers of process, this won't be a fit.
If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
