Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Midland-Odessa Area, Texas

Salary Range: $26/hour ? $32/hour - approximately 50-60 hours per week with semi-annual bonuses

Core Function

The Quality Control Inspector will play a vital role in ensuring that all materials, structures, and components meet quality and regulatory standards throughout the production process. This position involves conducting inspections, verifying compliance, and collaborating with production teams to maintain the highest levels of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of materials, structures, and components to ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards (e.g., ASME, API).
  • Verify that all pressure vessels, tanks, and product lines meet quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and document deficiencies, recommending corrective actions to address any issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions using travelers and QC inspection sheets.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors, safety managers, and QC inspectors to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld.

Requirements
  • CWI certification is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, API).
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and inspection reporting software.
