As the Lead AI Engineer, you will develop and implement cutting-edge AI models leveraging computer vision and vision-language technologies whilst collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
Our client is building a product capable of assessing buildings against natural disaster risk.
This is a fully hands on role and you will have the opportunity to build a team underneath you as the business scales
Experience:
At least 4 years of hands-on experience with computer vision and vision-language models.
Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams and delivering AI projects involving fine-tuning, training, and deploying LLMs.
Strong expertise in designing and building machine learning architectures using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
Education:
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or a related field, with a concentration in computer vision, NLP, or machine learning.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of computer vision algorithms, vision-language models, and multimodal AI.
Proficiency in Python and experience deploying models on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong familiarity with image processing, NLP libraries, and both open-source and commercial LLMs.
