An employer in the San Antonio, TX area is looking for a Drainage Project Manager with their Professional Engineer license. This person will play a critical role in designing and implementing effective drainage systems to manage stormwater, prevent flooding, and protect infrastructure. Your expertise in hydraulic modeling and design software, specifically HECRAS and Hydraflow Hydrograph, will be essential for successful project execution. This person will oversee a team of around 7 engineers and EIT's. This role is sometimes hands on with design, but majority is team oversight/ project management. The project types include but are not limited to master drainage plans (city or county), roadway projects, flood studies, underground utility design, land projects, commercial and subdivision projects. They will be using modeling to map the drainage and runoff for new and renovated sites. This person will conduct site visits as needed, but primarily will work in the office.
Projects:
Big master drainage plans (city or county wide)
Big roadway projects with drainage components (culvert crossing designs etc)
Road projects for storm sewer/ underground utility design
Flood studies (more land dev) (river authorities, flood control districts)
