Job Description
  • Ensure zero personal accidents/incidents, promptly reporting near-miss incidents.
  • Develop specifications for equipment and components related to hydrogen refueling stations (compressors, storage systems, valves, electrical cabinets, etc.).
  • Create and manage technical documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, layout drawings, piping specs, installation manuals, maintenance guides, etc.
  • Lead in-process inspections to ensure vendors comply with technical and quality specifications. Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and prepare inspection documentation.
  • Perform necessary process calculations for hydrogen refueling stations, including PSV calculations, cooling power, vent sizing, and more.
  • Stay updated on codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, CGA), ensuring the team is aware of any changes and applying them to designs.
  • Work with vendors, engineering teams, and customers to ensure that projects align with technical specifications, safety, and standards.
  • Oversee project documentation, from submittals to as-built drawings, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Assist customers with permitting and other technical needs, ensuring all documentation is compliant.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to deliver engineering solutions and provide technical support during project execution and startup.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and provide technical support as needed.

Skills Required
  • 5+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in project/product engineering.
  • Strong track record of delivering engineering deliverables on projects, including documentation and specifications.
  • Demonstrates leadership, initiative, and problem-solving skills to guide projects and team members.
  • Strong culture of safety, cost control, and adherence to schedules.
  • Clear and effective communication with project teams, clients, and management, both verbally and in writing (English).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and ISA symbology.

Education/Training/Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical).

Additional Requirements
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software is a plus.
  • Ability to motivate team members and influence stakeholders to gain consensus and drive action.
  • Experience with hydrogen-related technologies or projects is highly preferred.
