The Senior Software Quality Engineer will be part of a team executing NextGen Architecture of Tomorrow dynamic pricing platform running on Google Cloud and interfacing with UPS rating and billing systems. The role requires the Senior SQE to be responsible for testing for multiple scrum teams and participate in end-to-end testing efforts with interfacing scrum teams. The teams operate within SAFe Agile Release Train. The tester is required to be onsite at least twice a week.
Responsibilities:
Conducts quality assessment (QA) design and development processes.
Active participation in all Agile ceremonies
Requirements review and analysis.
Defect analysis, management and reporting.
Collaborates with QA, applications, business analyst and user teams.
Develops test solutions.
Provides expertise in testing across the QA organization.
Develops and implements new practices and testing standards.
Contribute to project design.
Mandatory Skills:
Minimum Qualifications: Proficient in testing practices, testing levels, test plans, test script and test data creation. Knowledge of Safe Agile Framework Experience in testing API using POSTMAN, Rest Assured, JSON and REST API Experience with Azure DevOps Experience in performance testing using JMETER/K6 Knowledge of .Net, Java and JSON Experience in building and maintaining API Automation: Ready API, Postman, SOAP UI, Rest API Assured Excellent written and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline Quality Assurance certifications are a plus
