The ideal profile for this role will have
  • MS or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
  • Strong foundation in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
  • In-depth knowledge of algorithms and optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or C++ for data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks.
  • Experience with A/B testing and causal inference methods.(preferred)
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop.
  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks and applications.
  • Experience developing optimization models using tools like Gurobi, CPLEX, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience involving real-world data analysis and modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced mathematical, statistical, and machine learning techniques to optimize decision-making across various business areas.
  • Develop descriptive, causal, predictive, and decision models for solving business challenges.
  • Simplify complex findings and present them in a way that stakeholders can use to make strategic decisions.
  • Transform and enrich data from multiple sources, ensuring high-quality inputs for model development and analysis.
  • Design and implement end-to-end analytical frameworks that drive business insights and innovation.
  • Create reproducible research methodologies that solve problems across multiple domains.
  • Collaborate with product teams, engineering, and executives to identify high-value opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain metrics, KPIs, reports, and dashboards to measure business performance and impact.
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of models and analytics to deliver real-world value.
  • Translate complex analytical insights into strategic recommendations with clear and actionable implementation paths.
  • Work cross-functionally to empower non-technical teams to leverage data insights and decision-making tools.
  • Lead experimental design to resolve strategic debates using evidence, not opinions.
