The Learning and Development Senior Analyst is responsible for identifying the objectives, constraints, and cultural fit of training requests as well as uncovering all learner needs, content research and learning strategy for each project. Works with internal partners to determine focus of material and all associated detail to prepare the project for design. The Learning Project Specialist supports the learning needs of internal team members by partnering with subject matter experts (SMEs) to uncover the best approach for the development and maintenance of training solutions. The Learning Project Specialist will use Orgill's Learning & Talent Development content development process to identify all learning needs of Orgill and Tyndale Advisors, to ensure robust and accurate education material for Orgill and Tyndale Advisor employees as well as Orgill dealers. The Learning Project Specialist will drive adoption of Train Track to empower employees with training and development. This position works under minimal supervision and must work closely with Leadership, Program Managers, Team Members and all levels of Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience with one or more of the following preferred: distribution, wholesale distribution or hardware/home improvement industry
Must have the ability to travel frequently (estimated up to 50% of the job).
Identifies project objectives & constraints.
Ensures cultural fit of all projects.
Identifies any potential roadblocks that could affect project completion.
Research learner needs and styles.
Identify key problems or knowledge gaps.
Utilizes SME interview questions template.
Create a list of topics and subtopics that need to be taught in order to bridge the learning deficit.
Write a learning objective for each topic.
Research and vet existing resources and content that can be used or enhanced.
Obtain and maintain an acceptable training completion rate for all required compliance training

Excellent computer knowledge. Proficient in Google Products and MS Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Must have the ability to read and write English
Education Required:
BS, MS, or equivalent degree in project management, communication, or related field
