Akkodis is seeking a (System Administrator) for a (20+ months contract ) job with a client in (Newark DE 19713 - Hybrid). (We are looking for a highly skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain our Windows Server and VMware environment.).
Rate Range: $28/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will oversee deployment, administration, security remediation, and troubleshooting of Windows-based servers and virtualization infrastructure.
Requirements:
This role requires expertise in Active Directory, O365, Windows platforms, and VMware, along with experience in PowerShell scripting, networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls), and monitoring tools.
Familiarity with hybrid AD/O365 environments and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is advantageous, as is Citrix experience.
strong problem-solving abilities, a detail-oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
A minimum of 3 years of system administration experience in a Windows and VMware environment is required.
