Desired Skills and Experience • Minimum 7 years of experience within building and general construction • Minimum 5 years of experience within construction safety process management OR Bachelor's degree within safety (or related field) accompanying 3 years of professional field experience • Must have practical knowledge, working experience, and document continuing education from the most recent 5 years - within in the following: fall protection, scaffolds, excavation, confined space, crane/equipment operations, electrical, incident investigation, and other such safety/health related training. • OSHA certifications required: 10, 30, 510 and 500 (or 502) • CPR and AED certified
Duties & Responsibilities: • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of job sites to identify potential hazards. • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures tailored to each project. • Provide safety training and education to employees, subcontractors, and site visitors. • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports. • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety into all phases of construction. • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations. • Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among all team members.
Job Description
