Under the general direction of the Program Director and Residency Program Administrator 4, the incumbent will support the department including the residency, fellowship, and internship programs. Assist with management of training program compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and Commission of Accreditation standards, LSUHSC-NO policies and procedures, and other regulatory requirements. The incumbent in this position will exercise a high level of judgment and initiative; perform all duties in a highly responsible and independent manner; provide administrative support, as needed.. Excellent communication, team-oriented attitude and a cultural sensitivity and attunement to the needs of the section(s) are needed by the candidate.
Required: Bachelor's
Required: Two years professional level work experience
** Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of professional level work experience
Preferred: Master's
Preferred: Prior experience in a higher education environment
