Ensures the execution of strategies and programs in direct support of the University's Empowering Futures programs and retention goals. This role will provide unparalleled support for the Empowering Futures Gift as we continue to strive towards transformational experiences for students on Western's campus, leading to higher retention, persistence, and ultimately graduation rates. The role will report to the Associate Vice President for Campus Life, but will broadly serve the entire collection of transformative initiatives, working to help our teams not only strive to meet student success, but to help all thrive.
Major Duties:
Develops and maintains detailed work plans, project schedules, quality assurance plans, and reports to ensure timely completion of projects.
Facilitates project meetings and all Empowering Futures stakeholder communication.
Utilizes data to develop strategies and execute outreach that supports the University's retention goals.
Provides direction and guidance to the Navigator Network program, as well as all Empowering Futures initiatives, and aids in resolving personnel and operational issues.
Fosters collaborations, partnerships, and customer relations to achieve goals of the Empowering Futures gift and the University's retention targets.
Enhances the effectiveness of Empowering Futures programs by facilitating and monitoring the submission of reports, evaluations, and other materials as required.
Creates systems and processes that help drive Empowering Futures as a force for transformation within the University. Researches programs, trends, and other best practices to develop long-and short-term strategies.
Supports the Executive Leadership Team with change management and strategies that enhance the experiences and engagement for all connected with Empowering Futures.
Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Five years' relevant experience.
Supervisory experience.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Program management experience.
Project management experience.
Budget administration experience.
