Historic Carson House in Marion, NC, is looking to hire its next Executive Director. HCH owns and operates the Carson House Museum and Jubilee Arbor event space. A new 3000 sq ft visitor center will open this summer. The Executive Director has wide-ranging responsibilities including working with the Board, supervising staff and volunteers, developing educational programs, community outreach, fundraising, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the museum. The museum is open April through November and the work schedule varies accordingly, 40 hours a week for nine months and 10 hours a week for three months, totaling approx 1560 hours annually.
