Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects while leveraging your technical expertise.
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Java, Kotlin, and JVM-based technologies.
• Implement and optimize REST APIs to enhance application performance.
• Utilize the Spring Boot framework and Quarkus for efficient application development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
• Manage version control and CI/CD processes using Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
• Participate in the design and implementation of scalable solutions using PostgreSQL and Apache Kafka.

Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce Development and Marketing Cloud.
• Knowledge of 12-factor app principles and microservices architecture.
• Experience with alerting mechanisms and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
