We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Strategic Finance team at Uber Freight supporting our Last Mile business. Uber Freight is a fast growing business and you would be partnering closely with business unit leads and finance leadership at Uber Freight on key strategic decisions that drive growth on our platform.
What the Candidate Will Do
Build models from scratch, improve existing models, break complex models down into consolidating subcomponents
Partner with key stakeholders to translate top-line forecasts to headcount needs, ensure we are setting our business partners up to succeed while also challenging the organization to work within financial targets and efficiency goals
You will be the primary point of contact for all Last Mile operating expense controls.
This includes ongoing maintenance and health checks, monthly forecasts, and annual/long-range planning
Create cost management process by assisting in ideation, quantification, assessment, and tracking of productivity projects
Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements to adjust our most pressing priorities
Take ownership of projects from conception to completion, demonstrating strong initiative and drive
Manage and interpret data effectively: Utilize your expertise to collect, organize, and analyze data, ensuring it informs strategic decisions and supports business objectives.
Innovative - Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skills
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
3 years of proven ability in Corporate Finance/Operational FP&A
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Proven Experience with Oracle products such as Oracle Fusion, Hyperion ESSbase, Epbcs
Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Previous experience in the logistics, supply chain, or financial services industries
