Job Description:

Location: Nashville, TN

Salary: Depends on Experience

Description: The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturing client on the eastern side of Nashville area to find a Safety or EHS Specialist for their team.


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Understanding of Federal/State environmental and OSHA laws and regulations to ensure all local, state and federal regulatory requirements and permits are being met and implemented


• Develops and conducts safety training for employees


• Assist in the incident investigation process to ensure incidents are investigated and root causes are identified
  
  


• Monitor site metrics and conduct report outs of metrics to the plant management team


• Help maintain a safe and healthy work environment across the plant in all departments for all personnel


• Ensure all programs, policies, and guidelines are followed by all team members and provide any updates to these programs and policies in accordance with government policies


• Provide continuous safety education and training to all employees along with leading new hire orientation through safety training


• Provide regular reports to corporate safety team

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree


• 2+ years of Safety Experience in manufacturing
