Location: Baltimore, MD

Salary: $26.00 USD Hourly - $28.50 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Jr. Financial Analyst
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide consistent, high-quality support to portfolio management teams. This includes managing and performing globally centralized investment-related operational processes, responding to ad hoc requests and inquiries, and participating in strategic functions and initiatives. *This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days a week onsite*


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Support ongoing operational activities associated with portfolio management under the guidance of senior team members and management.


• Provide business process analysis to identify and implement efficient, scalable, and risk-controlled solutions for processes lacking operational efficiency or control.


• Support various IL groups by offering coverage for daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc strategy-related workflows and investment staff support, depending on IL capacity constraints.


• Maintain accurate and complete procedural documentation for assignments, participate in cross-training exercises, and provide operational coverage as needed for defined processes.


• Act as a resource for junior members, helping them complete operational activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.


• 2+ years of relevant work experience (flexible).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience in Investment Operations.


• Strong technical skills (e.g., Excel, VBA, Outlook).


• Experience with tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Dremio, and Power Query.


• Understanding of corporate actions.


• Process and detail-oriented.


• Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative.


• Positive, problem-solving oriented attitude.


• Ability to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Desire to learn and take on challenges.


• Effective prioritization and time management skills.
