Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our Product Management Team, supporting the execution of our product team's backlog. In this role, you will work closely with a Product Manager, who is responsible for discovery activities, roadmap management, and deciding what to build. Your primary focus will be on translating priorities into actionable development work, ensuring seamless execution, and collaborating with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams.

What will you do?


  • Partner with business sponsors, subject matter experts, and software development teams to build and enhance business process and reporting software.

  • Collaborate with a Product Manager to align execution with strategic goals and business priorities.

  • Own the tactical execution of the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, prioritized, and delivered on schedule.

  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to refine user stories, clarify requirements, and support development efforts.

  • Elicit, shape, and document software development requirements while maintaining a strong functional knowledge of applications.

  • Respond to user requests for training and problem-solving on existing systems.

  • Act as the liaison between business staff and technical staff, communicating issues, defects, and enhancements to the development teams.

  • Create and maintain documentation of new project processes and deliverables, including requirements, testing documentation, and issues logs.

  • Roll out new system enhancements to system users, meeting training needs.

  • Monitor development progress, identify blockers, and facilitate resolution to keep projects on track.

  • Contribute to product documentation, training materials, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.


What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with core competency in thoroughly understanding the entirety of problems and solutions.

  • Creativity to view a problem from many angles, problem-solve, and drive towards an excellent solution.

  • Initiative to uncover and solve problems proactively and self-starter who can suggest technology improvements.

  • Effective working on teams, within and outside of function.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage priorities.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.

  • Emotional intelligence, strong work ethic, and ability to solve complex multi-layered problems.


Preferred but nonessential skills and qualifications:


  • 5+ years' experience as business analyst working on customer-facing business applications that are both data heavy and customer-focused

  • Experience with project management methodologies.

  • Proficiency in a MS Windows environment (i.e., Word & Excel).

  • Familiarity with Atlassian products like Jira, Confluence, etc.

  • Previous energy or sustainability industry knowledge.
