Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to support Phantom Works in Berkeley, MO.

In this role, you will be part of a high performing, cross functional team, building next generation, state-of-the-art capability for the future of Air Dominance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing quality engineering and other quality related activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct
    reports.
  • Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.


This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Experience in management or leading teams in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 1+ years of experience leading and executing Advance Product Quality Planning Activities (APQP)
• 5+ years of experience developing/managing metrics and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA)
• Top Secret Clearance - preferred
• Experience with new development programs
• Experience documenting corrective actions and non-conformance
• Experience in Supplier Quality processes

Relocation

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility . Basic Relocation will be offered to eligible internal candidates.

Summary pay range: $117,000 - $143,000
