As an Information Technology Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to various aspects of information technology operations, analysis, and reporting. Your role involves assisting with IT tasks and supporting IT team members in day-to-day activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist NT Office technical support team with inventory control and eWaste organization, hardware & software support and ServiceNow knowledge base articles.
Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance IT skills.
Shadow experienced IT professionals to gain practical experience.
Support information technology team members in ad-hoc projects, special assignments, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist with the organization and maintenance of IT equipment and supplies.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Rising Junior or Senior, currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proficiency in using computers and operating systems.
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Basic knowledge of IT concepts: familiarity with hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
Self-motivated and possesses a high attention to detail.
Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift 50 pounds max.
