As a Litigation Support Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to various aspects of litigation support including eDiscovery project management. Your role involves assisting with tasks and supporting departmental team members in day-to-day activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Train as a junior eDiscovery project management lead by learning the request intake process, communicating expectations, tracking task progress and undertaking request deliveries.
Participate in training and development on the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) life cycle and eDiscovery best practices.
Assist with data and media management for legacy items.
Support litigation support team members in ad-hoc projects, special assignments, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Rising Junior or Senior, currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with an interest in the law or a related field.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and possesses a high attention to detail.
Organized with strong ability to prioritize and meet project deadlines.
Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift 25 pounds max.
