Principal Purpose of Position:
Provide clients with expertise in the field of assigned lines of insurance along with a quality of service that maintains long-term relationships. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions, ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
KNOW-HOW
Customer focused to establish and maintain effective relationships
Disseminate appropriate needs of client as it relates to Commercial Lines Insurance
Market Carriers for appropriate coverage
Facilitate requests and needs of Carriers on behalf of clients
Use independent judgment and discretion placing values and coverage's and makes appropriate recommendations to clients with matters of insurance
Take completed applications, including follow-up for documents required for processing in accordance with company policies and procedures
Set the customers' expectations and educate them on the entire Insurance process
Follow through on transactions to ensure policies are properly issued
Train and support staff and department on an on-going basis
Special projects as assigned
Education and/or Training:
High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
College degree preferred
Working knowledge of insurance in local area preferred
Must have a P&C License
Professional Insurance designation preferred, such as CIC, CISR or CPCU
Relevant Work Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years of Insurance experience desired
Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:
Self-confident to make sound independent decisions
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Communicating & Influencing Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people and function well in a team environment
Outputs:
Meet goals and objectives as agreed, comprehensively reviewed, and subject to modification
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions, ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
Support and maintain the Commercial Lines Department, including staff and production.

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $67,670.00 - $98,125.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
