About the Job
The Global Marketing Director Gaucher Disease will lead the full spectrum of Global Marketing initiatives for Cerezyme and Cerdelga. You will become a part of a dynamic global Rare Hematology team and collaborate with a broad cross-functional team including, but not limited to Market Research, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Finance, Analytics, and key market representatives to drive growth priorities for Cerezyme and Cerdelga.

Gaucher (go-SHAY) disease is the result of a buildup of certain fatty substances in certain organs, particularly your spleen and liver. This causes these organs to enlarge and can affect their function. The fatty substances also can build up in bone tissue, weakening the bone and increasing the risk of fractures. An enzyme that breaks down these fatty substances does not work properly in people with Gaucher disease.
Sanofi Gaucher in-line portfolio offers two highly effective brands Cerezyme and Cerdelga with projected €1B revenue in 2025 and demonstrated consistent double-digit growth. In addition, Venglustat, a pipeline oral Gaucher treatment is under development, securing long-term future of Gaucher portfolio.
An experienced marketer interested seeking an exciting opportunity will lead the full spectrum of Global Marketing initiatives for Cerezyme and Cerdelga. You will become a part of a dynamic global Rare Hematology team and collaborate with a broad cross-functional team including, but not limited to Market Research, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Finance, Analytics, and key market representatives to drive growth priorities for Cerezyme and Cerdelga.

Main Responsibilities:
Lead the Global Cerezyme and Cerdelga business priorities and implementing a comprehensive, cross-functional brand plan, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with marketing objectives.
Support top contributing markets to achieve growth goals for Cerezyme/ Cerdelga (ensure competitive mindset and promote differentiation of Sanofi brands, maintain Sanofi market share leadership, blunt NCBT uptake and minimize generic risk)
Lead 2026 Brand Planning supported by other core team members.
Lead Cerezyme and Cerdelga HCP strategy and tactical execution (iVA updates, new data/publications to commercial strategy, evolving content needs/ activities etc.)
Advance AI capabilities in US and in select markets to accelerate diagnostics performance including by expanding the use of EHR or through direct to patient solutions.
Support Rare Patient Activation and growth strategy team (provide inputs on patient journey etc.)
Contribute to effective working relationships with key external customers.
About you
B.S./B.A. degree / MBA preferred.
At least 5+ years of in-line brand strategy and tactical marketing experience in pharmaceuticals
Demonstrated experience in working with Regulatory, Legal, and Medical in a solutions-based partnership.
Marketing experience with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with various customer segments, developing marketing strategies and ensuring tactical execution.
Understanding of launching initiatives, including strategic and operational requirements
Prior success driving cross-functional workstreams towards a common goal and ensuring execution on-budget and on-time, leveraging excellent project and process management skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate innovative science in an easy to understand and compelling way (internally, externally), leveraging excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to both "think strategically" and manage execution details.
Excellent people skills to negotiate, communicate, present, persuade a point of view.
High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
